  1. How long does to rework a rest stop, the one close to Dixon Tn on I 40? The people of Dixon must not want it open so people will stop in there town and do business, is this political?

    • No excuse in this. You wasted money putting one at the Solar Farm between Jackson and Memphis ( you already had 2 ) , to make the Sloar farm image look good i guess.
      The resturants a Dickson will not let you use theirs. The rest stops at mile maker 170 are closed. No place to take kids ( with small blatters) to till the Tenn. RIVER. Whoever deside to shut them down does travel with kids.

      • I’m not sure what you think you are accomplishing by posting this rant on this website. If you want to formally complain, do so with the Tennessee Department of Transportation office, which we are not.

    • There should have been three (one is currently closed) going eastbound:

      Mile 73 near Jackson
      Mile 130 near Holladay
      Mile 170 near Dickson (currently closed for some reason)
