Rest stop was fine. And the two wonderful gentlemen who helped with our car problem were great. Thanks again.
That rest stop was at one I40 eastbound at Holladay.
If urgent, take exit 172 and go to some of the gas stations or restaurants.
Dickson eastbound still closed as of today.
How long does to rework a rest stop, the one close to Dixon Tn on I 40? The people of Dixon must not want it open so people will stop in there town and do business, is this political?
According to TDOT the Dickson rest area (mm 170) is closed for repairs and slated to reopen 07/31/2020.
No excuse in this. You wasted money putting one at the Solar Farm between Jackson and Memphis ( you already had 2 ) , to make the Sloar farm image look good i guess.
The resturants a Dickson will not let you use theirs. The rest stops at mile maker 170 are closed. No place to take kids ( with small blatters) to till the Tenn. RIVER. Whoever deside to shut them down does travel with kids.
I’m not sure what you think you are accomplishing by posting this rant on this website. If you want to formally complain, do so with the Tennessee Department of Transportation office, which we are not.
Well, the projected reopen date for the mm 170 rest stop has come and gone and it is still closed. Any projections?
According to TDOT it will open 7/31/21.
If people would not pull toilets off walls and stopping up toilets with garbage…
Thanks for info, I can dig further on what’s open
Here it is September and it’s still f@#ing closed

Mile 73 near Jackson
Mile 130 near Holladay
Mile 170 near Dickson (currently closed for some reason)
Mile 170 rest area has been closed for months both sides. Why?
The rest area mile 170 marker, Dickson is stiller closed
