Rest Areas
Below is a list of rest areas along Interstate 90 in Idaho. Rest areas are listed from east to west. Eastbound travelers read up the page; westbound travelers read down the page.
Mile Marker 8 – Post Falls
- Rest Area (westbound)
- Welcome Center (eastbound)
They r closed because people r pigs and we can’t find enough people to clean up after out of state people stay in your own state and make a mess thanks
Why is the eastbound and west bound rest stops on i-90 in between post falls and cda closed?
Idaho’s Department of Transportation website shows both of these locations as being open. Try contacting the DOT by phone for an official answer (208-334-8000).
Then perhaps the barriers on the off ramps should be collected up and the CLOSED signs removed.
Administrate that.
You do realize this website is not an official Department of Transportation site, right? I am suggesting the original poster contact the DOT office in Idaho for an answer because their website doesn’t have any information about these being closed.
Hello, I’ve heard the mile marker 8 eastbound will allow limited overnight for 1 night. Also heard its clean and a safe place to rest for the next days journey…any confirmation on this, thanks.
Wrong time of year to close
ID is a disgrace asa tourist to get information.. For more than two hours have trued to find rest stops on I-84 and also overnight stops for RV.
ZERO results with the zero maps coming up. You really need to get maps and information if you want any visitors to come by ID. Please provide easy access like Montana does.
Not certain exactly what your complaint is about. You’ve posted this comment on the I-90 page but say you are looking for rest areas on I-84. There is a page that lists rest areas on I-84 here: https://www.interstaterestareas.com/idaho-interstate-84/
With regard to maps, you’ll find that here: https://www.interstaterestareas.com/map-of-rest-areas/
Links to all of these areas and more is found on the site’s home page, the menu bar above, and the Site Navigation menu below.
