We are writing to say PLEASE HELP/IMPROVE the Arriba, CO Interstate 70 rest stop. Husband and I currently in Chicago. On Thursday 5/16 we departed Denver and drove I-70. It was a hot day. We stopped at the Arriba rest stop (like many other vehicles) to use the rest rooms. As soon as we pulled in the overflowing trash bins came into view. Trash and filth was everywhere on the sidewalks, the grass on the walking paths. There was no drinking water. The womens toilets were in rough shape and my husband said same about the mens rest room. SOOOO sad to me as we have now put on over 8,000 miles on car (drove VT through Canada, down USA west coast, CA, Nevada, Utah and all the rest of CO was beautiful but the Arriba CO stop will always stick in our minds as a shocking lack of care for travellers. Could not fill water. Whole place filthy. YOU CAN do better: thank you. Disappointed in CO rest stop care, VT visitors
