Below is a list of rest areas along Interstate 35 in Missouri. Rest areas are listed from north to south. Northbound travelers read up the page; southbound travelers read down the page.

Closing rest areas in any direction is a detriment to public safety as you will have tired people driving along with people speeding because they may need to use a bathroom
Stupidest thing Parson has done!
The rest area at southbound I-35 Mile 35 will be closing in March, 2023. It is to be converted to a truck-only parking area with vault toilets. Expected reopening is October, 2023.
I rely on that truck stop when I am going southbound on I 35. It’s loss will be a great impediment to my travel.
Is this truck stop a pleasant place to stop and take a break, or does it leave something to be desired?
