  1. Just travelled from Sioux Falls to Kansas City . Iowa has nice clean rest stops every 30-40 miles in I 29. Missouri has one between state line and K C .Pretty pathetic!!!!!

  2. I am disappointed to see the rest stop gone on I-29 south in Missouri. I understand that the truckers need a place, but this was a nice building and area for a rest or just to stretch after a long drive. It could have been upgraded as the one going northbound. I’m not sure I understand why a building was
demolished all together. Poor Choice Missouri!

  3. closing i 29 mile marker s bound 27 rest area to travlers many being residents of state of mo is a indication of how cheap the state of mo is becoming. i noticed poor snow removal large potholes on the interstate hwys in state of mo cutting services may save tax payers a few bucks but this state has been downgrading. vault toilets are big stinkers that is parallel to people making these decisions

  4. Dear Governor Mike Parsons,
What a terrible representation of our state , no courtesy, businesses should have to carry the brunt of this decision to take our great state backwards. We are a great state , we are not poor , we can afford this courtesy.

  5. The southbound rest area at Mile 27 will be closing in March, 2023. It will be converted to a truck-only parking area with vault toilets. Expected completing date is October, 2023.

  6. Save and improve the I-29 dearborn south rest area. It is needed for both people and pets to
get a save and fast “potty” break. Most business want you walking your dog around there
business or you only using their place to use the restroom.
DO NOT TURN THIS REST AREA INTO A PRIMITIVE STOP LIKE YOU DID AT
MOUND CITY, MO. Both side of rest areas (Mound City)are dumps! just dumps.
