Just stopped at Coalfield rest stop (southbound mile marker 64). The women’s rest room was disgusting. Two stalls closed. One with no latch to close but it was so broken it wouldn’t have even closed. The other two stalls had a makeshift latch giving the stall a 3 inch gap. The men’s restroom was also dirty and not well kept. The soap was weird and watery. Felt like I was washing my hands with straight water. The public water fountains did not work (I press and held). The informational displays are majorly outdated.
Hello,
Rest areas are owned and operated by the Department of Transportation. We are not an official DOT website and cannot assist with lost items, vending machines, cleanliness, employment, or the open/closed status of any rest area.
are any of the rest stops closed because of coronavirus?
