  1. WB @359, stopped with travel trailer overnight 11-6-23. Information center is closed with a row of Port-o-lets decorating the entrance, the adjacent building is open and bathrooms are functional. Train and highway noise not conducive to a peaceful sleep but a whole lot better than nothing.

  2. Thank you for this website as my wife and I prepare for a wonderful cross country road trip. Hopefully the rest stops are open. God bless you.

  3. Mile marker 235 is closed in both directions. At this point nearly every rest area in the state is closed. Arizona hates us all, and wants us to know it.

  4. We’re driving East on 40, Thursday August 26th at 6:40am, we couldn’t help but notice all the large semi trucks parked on the Entry and Exit ramps. Apparently the State Arizona doesn’t care about the men and women transporting America’s goods. Thank you for this site~

  5. You need to update your website to indicate rest areas that are closed!! Total bs getting to them and they are all closed and we are out in the middle of nowhere. Irresponsible completely.

      • Or you could do your jobs and just update the website so people are aware and can prepare properly.
It is irresponsible completely on your end.
A year later from their original concern and it still hasn’t even been updated.

        • You do realize this website is not associated with any state Department of Transportation office, right? You know that we are a book publisher and produce a guide to rest areas nationwide, correct? I don’t monitor the DOT websites daily to know what rest areas close and for what reason.

  6. Exit 359 rest stop closed on 8/1/2020. Sign says there is another rest stop 3 miles up the road in NM, but that one is closed also.
