According to the California DOT website this rest area will be receiving an overhaul. Closed July 1, 2024 and is expected to reopen in the fall of 2025!
Drove from NorCal 7/3 to SoCal and back up to NorCal 7/7, Westley Rest Area was closed in both directions & there was no date posted regarding re-opening.
Thank you for letting me know! According to the California DOT website both rest areas will be receiving an overhaul. Both locations closed July 1, 2024 and construction is expected to be finished in the fall of 2025.
