  1. The I-95s restrooms in Westwood, MA (6R8R+XM) are disgusting and have been for very many years. Some years ago, possibly around the time Covid hit, they were closed for a long time, and several disgusting porta-potties were put outside.

Some assumed that, during the closure, the restrooms were finally being renovated or replaced. But nothing happened. A year or two later they reopened in the same sorry condition. One porta-potty was left outside.

One would think that, on an interstate, Massachusetts or the Federal government would do something about this. It is hard to believe that there have been no complaints about this. Even at a non-interstate highway, restrooms should not be allowed to end up is this condition without something being done about it.

I’m hoping these comments will prompt others to submit, or resubmit, their comments and opinions.

    Thanks.

  2. The restrooms heading north on route 95 from RI to NH are a disgrace. The stop in Attleboro is so outdated and scary…dated to the 50’s. There really should be a clean, well maintained, well lit Welcome Center in the Attleboro location. The Attleboro stop is a terrible representation for MA. Also, the rest stop heading south from NH near the Salisbury line is not welcoming either. With full understanding of environmental issues, the “porta potty” type toilets inside might as well be outside. One has to think twice, or thrice, before entertaining the idea to stop there. In addition, the hours that that stop is open is not reliable at all. Someone should really look towards NH restrooms for a lesson in providing clean, well lit, updated, welcoming rest stops.
