  1. They’re stealing all the money. Then they close the rest areas and say “See, we need more tax or you’ll never pee again!” Then they steal that too. Corruption beyond comprehension.

  2. Didn’t we just get a whole lot of Federal money? Then why is this happening? No warning sign as you drive up to the rest spot, just orange cones. REALLY,

  3. I think the way they have the 302 rest areas closed is dangerous… There is no signage or indication that it is closed (actually is a sign saying 2 miles to the rest area) and even the entrance ramp is open allowing people to exit and come to a gate/closed sign…

  4. Rest area 252 is CLOSED 5-17-21. Lite up light a Christmas tree at night but closed down. New Mexico I40 is a crapy interstate. Mist rest areas are closed down, roads are poorly stripped, intersate is lije a wash board. We will travel via I 80 next time

  5. I will travel from California to Texas I October going through Arizona, New Mexico, parts of Oklahoma and Texas. Is it likely road side stops with restroom facilities on I40 will be open?
