Are all the north bound rest areas on Interstate 81 open? Also south bound Interstate 95?

Rest area on I64

Is the rest area open at exit 168 west bound on I64 near Richmond Va? How far is this rest area from Richmond?

flowers at a Virginia Rest area. I think Winchester,VA

We stopped at this Rest Area and I saw some tall flowers against the building. They grew on a stalk growing within wide blades of leaves. The flower was bright orange and in a cone shape with lighter colored polups all over it. I saw some of the polups were dried up and they looked like a seed pockets. I so much want to know what that flower is. I cannot find it anywhere on the web. I know this seems like a rediculous question ,but I really want to know.

I-295 Rest Areas

I-295 is a beltway around Richmond, Va. Beltways (3 digit numbers, 1st digit even) and stubs (3 digit numbers, 1st digit odd) generally do not have rest areas due to their short length and metropolitan nature.

At last report ALL Virginia rest areas are once again open after having been closed for several years due to budget constraints.

I-295 Rest Areas

The rest areas were closed for only 7 months, from July, 2009 until February, 2010.
