I don’t have an answer for you. This website simply lists rest area locations and not current status information. For current status, you’ll need to contact the DOT directly.
There is also a parking area at mile marker113 northbound
Thanks for the information. I don’t include turnouts or rest areas that do not have restroom facilities anymore. People complained that these locations were not “real” rest areas.
They are rest areas without facilities. Still useful for actual resting.
Yes, they are rest areas useful for actual resting but it seems most of the website visitors come here looking for rest areas with restrooms. I do include rest areas without facilities in my paperback book. Besides, I wouldn’t earn any money if I gave everything away for free!
