  1. For what it’s worth, the rest areas at Mile Marker 88 are real standard highway rest areas.

I didn’t stay there but had a quiet night with several other vehicles at Cove Fort behind the Chevron.

    • The Utah DOT used to have a public-private partnership with several gas stations along I-15 to act as unofficial rest areas. This partnership is no longer in effect so these unofficial rest areas will be removed from this website.

  2. No official rest area at Fillmore but the manager at the Chevron said I could park there and I’ve parked behind the Shell station before. There’s also a Carl’s Jr and a Subway there.

  3. Is there an actual rest area at Scipio? I saw no signs indicating one and there were just a few gas stations at the exit.
