  1. Mike Marker 54 southbound is disgusting. Immediately after stepping out of my vehicle I was basically slapped in the face with a HEAVY urine smell. Women’s rest room was filthy, toilet paper dispenser hanging off the wall. Only one faucet worked to wash. And to top it off the snack machine was out of order. And with 3 kids on a long road trip, that was a huge disappointment!

  2. At the rest area, northbound I-55. MM 239, outside of Courtland, MS, there is a nighttime security guard by the name of Jennifer Bowling who did a fantastic job of saving my life and the life of my nephew about a month ago. Thank you, Jennifer!!!!
Thank goodness there are security guards who know their jobs and try to help people!!!

  3. Is it possible for the security guards to park somewhere other than in the spot closest to the restrooms? They are not parking in the handicap spots but the closest non-handicap spaces. Hernando and Courtland Ms. Rest Areas.
