    • Idaho’s Department of Transportation website shows both of these locations as being open. Try contacting the DOT by phone for an official answer (208-334-8000).

        • You do realize this website is not an official Department of Transportation site, right? I am suggesting the original poster contact the DOT office in Idaho for an answer because their website doesn’t have any information about these being closed.

          • Hello, I’ve heard the mile marker 8 eastbound will allow limited overnight for 1 night. Also heard its clean and a safe place to rest for the next days journey…any confirmation on this, thanks.

  2. ID is a disgrace asa tourist to get information.. For more than two hours have trued to find rest stops on I-84 and also overnight stops for RV.
ZERO results with the zero maps coming up. You really need to get maps and information if you want any visitors to come by ID. Please provide easy access like Montana does.
