GPS Calculator

The following calculators will convert latitude and longitude coordinates between three different unit types:

  • Degrees/Minutes/Seconds: DD MM SS (Ex = 39 54 32)
  • Decimal Degrees: minutes and seconds are converted to decimal format. (Ex = 39.9088 degrees)
  • Degrees/Minutes: seconds are converted to decimal format. (Ex= 39 degrees 54.5333 minutes)

Entering negative values of longitude are not necessary. For example, coordinates for Colorado can be expressed as 39deg, -108deg or 39 N, 108 W. The calculators assume positive numbers.
