To bad for you

If you lived in Oklahoma you would know that the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority operates the turnpikes and they could care less about you needing more or better equipped rest stops.

Likewise in the winter I have traveled at highway speed in Missouri after a snow with both lanes cleared and one lane dry. Just as soon as I crossed into Oklahoma both lanes were snow packed and one couldn't drive over 35-40 mph. The difference between the last mile in MO and entering into Oklahoma was like night and day. Same when going south into Texas.

Bottom line is that you cannot get to Tulsa (from any direction) without paying a toll and the roads are poorly maintained and they could care less.

If you travel the turnpikes very often you will notice people pulled off to the side of the turnpike letting their young children (or sometimes themselves) take a leak on the edge of the road.
