No welcome center coming into NJ.
I drove up to NJ from NC up I-81 through VA, W-VA, MD and PA, then I took I-78 from Harrisburg east. Every state had a staffed welcome center with brochures, vending machines & restrooms (very inviting) within 2-3 miles of their state line. Except NJ. I crossed into NJ on I-78 East and stopped at a "rest area" which had nothing. No building at all & no marked parking spaces. I watched a man have to relieve himself in the bushes, and trucks were idling next to the few cars there. Is this how New Jersey invites travelers? Are there no sights to see in the Garden State?
