Rest area
I have been traveling on I-80/90 for years now, and often stop at the rest stops to use the bathroom. Last night I stopped at the portage rest stop on west bound I-80/90. I was absolutely disgusted by the restrooms. It was very unsaintary. As I was walking up to the restrooms the stench of urine was very overwhelming. I do realize the large number of people that visit the rest stops and realize that it may not always be spotless, but this was unaccaptable. This is not the first time that I have encountered this at the paticular rest area. The rest area smelled and looked like it had not been tended to in days. It is supposed to be maintained by Hardee's as the sign in the bathroom states, but if I were Hardee's I would be ashamed to have that sign posted in there. Bottom line is I will no longer be stopping at this paticular rest area if things do not improve. Again I realize how busy it is, but please take action and make sure it is cleaned well as often as possible. All of the other rest areas are very clean, but this one is disgusting.
