  2. Rest area on eastbound i30 at exit 56 is also closed. Not a good comment on Arkansas. Leaves travelers in a bad way when pulling RVs. Won’t be traveling here again.

    • The Department of Transportation website indicates this rest area has sewer issues. There is no indication when or if the issue will be fixed. I’m sure your decision to not travel through Arkansas again won’t have any impact on the closure.

      • But your flippant comment and attitude may very well have an impact on someone deciding to travel through your state. Arkansas has enough negatives already with the Covid numbers rising rapidly again, can your state really afford to discourage any more vacationers from traveling through the area?

        • This website is not affiliated with any official Department of Transportation office. We aren’t responsible for any of the rest areas listed here. People don’t seem to get that. They tend to think that posting comments like above will have some sort of impact. It doesn’t. This website is little more than a directory of rest areas nationwide. It doesn’t take much time to look around the site to figure that out.
